Jo Hammerborg Aluminium "Corda" wall lights for Fog & Morup, 1970s
Aluminium wall lights from Denmark, designed by Jo Hammerborg in the 1970s.
These incredible lights are of excellent quality and superb design - great impact given shade size.
They are formed of brushed aluminum on a lacquered base and stem, the shade can be tilted 360 degrees and up and down as well.
In 1957 Hammerborg became head of design at Fog & Mørup. His incumbency in
this role was to prove the most successful period in the company’s 80-year
history both artistically and commercially as he introduced a new modernist
aesthetic
Fully working, rewired & UK PAT tested & passed (portable appliance tested)
Size: from wall 27cm, base 10cm. Shade is 14.5cm wide and 20cm long.
Condition: Good, light wear, odd scratches very small dents - rewired and UK PAT safety tested and passed.
