A pendant consisting of a trio of Jo Hammerborg "Orients". Fog and Morup.
The "Orients" are brushed aluminium with a teak frame for suspension - designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in Denmark in the 1960s.
In 1957 Jo Hammerborg became head of design at Fog & Mørup. His incumbency in this role was to prove the most successful period in the company’s 80-year history both artistically and commercially as he introduced a new modernist aesthetic.
Fully working, rewired safety tested & passed. E27 / E26 edison screw fitting.
Each pendant measures:
Height 22cm / 8 3/4'' approx
Diameter 24cm / 9 1/2'' approx
Condition: Light wear.
