A 1960s Jo Hammerborg aluminium and grey lacquered steel 'Horisont' wall light, produced by Fog & Mørup, Denmark.
Designed by Jo Hammerborg in the 1960s. This design belongs to the golden years of Fog & Mørup which is still primarily known for the work of this designer.
This incredible lamp is of excellent quality and superb design and is in good condition.
It provides effective downward lighting but also backlit.
In 1957 Hammerborg became head of design at Fog & Mørup. His incumbency in this role was to prove the most successful period in the company’s 80-year history both artistically and commercially as he introduced a new modernist aesthetic.

Fully working, rewired & safety tested - E27 / E26 Edison screw fitting.
