Description
A 'Tivoli', also known as 'Divan 2' pendant, designed by Simon Henningsen the son of Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen. The pendants were originally designed for the Tivoli Gardens restaurant Divan 2 in Copenhagen in 1962. It is the most famous design of Simon Henningsen's short career, one design of just four lights he designed for Lyfa but all important and a very accomplished designer in his own right.
The consists of 20 chromed rhomboid metal plates which are enamelled on the interiors in shades of blue, orange, white and purple omitting a wonderful light effect.
Fully working, rewired, safety tested & passed - E27 / E26 Edison screw fitting.

Condition: Some minor imperfections commensurate with age and use. Some discolouration to the interiors of the metal plates, particularly on the white plates. Several pressure indentations on a couple of the metal plates. Overall in nice condition and a stunning piece.
