A "Taraxacum" cocoon pendant by Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos, 1960's.
This "Taraxacum" pendant is constructed from sprayed plastic polymers creating a membrane which is stretched over an enamelled metal frame - this series of designs are often referred to as 'Cocoon' lights.
The design was submitted at M.O.M.A New York "ITALY: The new domestic landscape" 1972 and is a historical design.

Condition: The piece is in good vintage condition, only minor age related signs of wear.
The piece has been rewired, safety checked and passed and labelled to this effect.
E27 Edison screw fitting. Will work in countries that use 120v if a 120v bulb is used.
