A pair of Børge Mogensen lounge chairs designed in 1956 model numbers 2256 & 2254 for Fredericia Stolefabrik. Cubical frames made of solid oak with finger joints and cane. The high back model 2254 also reclines.
Newly reupholstered in Kvadrat Hallingdal 65, 0126 & 0180 fabric, the chairs have original cane backrests with great patina but the seat pad cane has been renewed. The chairs have a Danish soap washed finish. The seat cushion can be fixed with a leather strap attached to the frame.

Condition: The chairs have been fully reupholstered, with new foam and new cane seat pads. Frames have been restored and Danish soap washed. Some commensurate signs of age and use should be expected.
