A 1960s Hartmut Lohmeyer easy chair in cane for Wilkhahn, Germany.
A beautifully shaped teak piece featuring a cane back rest. Seat pad reupholstered in Kvadrat Hallingdal 65 fabric.
Hartmut Lohmeyer was trained as an architect under Egon Eiermann and also later became a furniture designer. He developed furniture particularly for Wilkhahn in the 1950s and 1960s.

Condition - Frame restored but shows signs of historic wear, we have kept the original cane due to the wonderful patina, due to its age the cane is fragile so there is the option of renewing if you'd prefer.
