A Cees Braakman 1950s DU-01 sideboard from the highly sought after ‘Japanese Series’ range for UMS Pastoe, Netherlands.
Designed in 1958 the minimalist design with its clean lines, floating appearance and without decorative elements has made this an in-demand now famous range of furniture especially with the DU-01 being the smaller compact version of the larger DU-03.
A rare piece of furniture, fully restored and in lovely vintage condition with only minor signs of wear well within what is commensurate for age.
