With inspiration drawn from Alvar Aalto & Eames, Robin Day’s Hillestak design catered for both domestic and commercial interiors.
The A-frame leg enabled perfectly vertical stacking. This table/desk has a beech frame and a rare original black Warerite laminate top
Generally in good condition, the legs have been refinished but still show some signs of its age, the warerite top does have more signs of use in the form of odd scratches and cloudy patches but this does not detract in any way and are broadly characterful.
