A Cees Braakman designed CB01 birch cabinet & writing desk, part of the Combex range. Consisting of a grey shelving stationary section, folding down laminated desk shelf and several compartments with shelving but also two bent ply drawers which are a Cees Braakman signature design feature, so too the looped curved birch legs which make this range so famous.
This cabinet offers space saving workspace and storage with an iconic design.
Whilst being fully functional the piece does show signs of its age and use, overall a medium-heavy level of wear. There is inconsistency in colouring internally, some light staining to the top, the hinge mechanism for the fold down desk has been changed and one drawer has suffered from carrying too much weight so does not sit perfectly in the drawer runners and is fragile. The piece is priced accordingly with condition in mind.
