A pair of Børge Mogensen lounge chairs designed in 1956 model number 2256 for Fredericia Stolefabrik. Cubical frames made of solid oak with finger joints and cane.
Newly reupholstered in Kvadrat Hallingdal 65, one chair has entirely new cane and one original cane and both have a Danish soap wash finish. The seat cushion can be fixed with a leather strap attached to the frame. Both pieces have attractive levels of patina, the new cane will darken over a period of time.

Condition: The chairs have been fully reupholstered, with new foam and new cane to one chair. Frames have been Danish soap washed but we have been sure to retain as much patina as possible. Some commensurate signs of age and use should be expected.
