A seldom found Terence Conran C8 cone chair. Dating from 1954 this is an early example which was produced by Conran Furniture.
The willow basket weave sits on a tripod steel rod frame.
Overall in good vintage condition, the basket has some minor breaks and imperfections to the willow but very good for age. The chair has a new duck down cushion which is upholstered in a red bouclé by Bute. Given age and fragility, it would be recommended this piece is not used every day, rather as a feature piece.
