A fine and rare ivory-coloured Marcel Breuer 'Wassily' chair, produced before 1968 in Italy by Gavina.
In 1968 Gavina was sold to the American company Knoll and the Bologna brand ceased to trade meaning this is a hard to find item, even more so given the colour.
The piece is in very good vintage condition. All areas of leather are still taut, the chrome-plated frame is also in nice condition. There are some areas of very minor discolouration to leather. With any vintage piece, if you look close enough you will always find small imperfections but we can confidently say this is a great piece.
