A Giancarlo Piretti "Sistema 61" modular sofa for Anonima Castelli, manufactured in Italy during the 1970s. Reupholstered in Pierre Frey long mohair 'Teddy' fabric.
Consisting of 3 seating sections, 5 backrests/arms and one corner post which can be arranged in a number of different ways. Each section is linked with an independent steel component (13x) which are not visible but allows flexibility when arranging.

Condition: In very good condition. A couple of chips to the plastic frame on the underside, not visible. Entirely new Pierre Frey fabric, as the pile is 100% mohair there are odd dark strands that are noticeable in the fabric if you look close enough. 13 connecting steel components some show signs of corrosion, not visible.
