A pair of Børge Mogensen lounge chairs, in cane, designed in 1956, model number 2256 for Fredericia Stolefabrik. Pieces in cane are rare and are early production.
Consisting of cubical frames made of solid oak with finger joints. Newly reupholstered in fluffy wool, mohair and alpaca Pierre Frey fabric. The seat cushion can be fixed with a leather strap attached to the frame.
The cane is mostly original, with odd professional repairs, at the time of listing and after close inspection, the cane is in good order but due to age will require periodic attention.
