Teak & Cord Stool by Georges Tigien, for Pradera, 1950s
Description
A highly decorative stool designed by Georges Tigien for Pradera in the 1950s, France.
Formed of teak and highly durable wire cable the piece is highly decorative and in original condition.
The piece works well as a footrest, side table, decorative object and accent piece – due to age, however, we wouldn’t recommend using it to sit on.
Condition: structurally sound, some light watermarking, a small amount of wood cracking on one leg around a knot where the wood has naturally dried. Patina throughout but in good original vintage condition but naturally these are fragile and are also decades old so you should expect wear commensurate with age.
