A beautiful example of a two-seat 'Le Stelle' loveseat sofa by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia, designed in 1974. Reupholstered in fresh, white linen.
The piece retains its original labels and is also signed with a B&B tag on the front seam.
An early Postmodern design by Mario Bellini that would work in a host of environments especially given it has been freshly reupholstered in on-trend linen, this piece is both versatile and very comfortable. Described by
Bellini himself: Elastic membranes, polyurethane cartilage, straps. Muscles flexed by a light skeleton. The soft flexibility of Dacron coupled with the fabric: a simple assembly for sophisticated comfort.
Condition: As the piece has been full reupholstered it is in fine condition.
