A Rare Olivier Mourgue "Djinn" Armchair & Ottoman in New Fluffy Alpaca Pierre Frey Fabric, France, 1960s
Description
A highly in-demand & very hard-to-find Olivier Mourgue "Djinn" armchair & ottoman newly upholstered in fluffy wool, mohair and alpaca fabric which is produced by one of the most luxurious fabric manufacturers in the world, Pierre Frey.
The Djinn series was famously used in Stanley Kubrick's 2001 A Space Odyssey, however, armchair examples without arms are more commonly found and pieces with arms are much harder to source.
This set is in beautiful condition – do expect slight quirks in line with a piece of this age, fabric may gather very slightly in places due to shape.
Dimensions:
Height 67 cm / 26.37 inches
Width 67 cm / 26.37 inches
Depth 70 cm / 27.55 inches
