A rustic tripod stool with a solid rough sawn slab top made of elm. The stool has three natural finish branch legs with nice colouring. The slab top has a characterful split which does not affect the practical use of the piece.
The stool most probably dates from the early-mid 20th Century.
Befitting of interiors that blend pieces of different styles and ages and also those that harness the stripped-back, primitive, rustic, wabi-sabi aesthetic that is so on trend currently and embraces and helps us see natural beauty in imperfection. The piece has amazing patina that only time can create.
